Name: Sabine Roche
Pseudos: Azr1el + Digitaleons.

Favourite Artists: H.R. Giger, Dali, Braque, Kandinski, Picasso, Hieronymus Bosch, Frank Frazetta, Linda Bergkvist, Alan Lee, Robert Czarny, Mirek Drozd to name but a few.

I work in the field of marketing communications. A big fan of science fiction and fantasy art, I grew up admiring the work of H.R. Giger. When I was fourteen, I attended an art workshop and studied traditional media for a number of years before moving to Ireland after my studies.

Passionate about video games and storytelling from an early age, I decided to gain skills in 3D modeling following the release of Bioware's epic RPG game on the original Xbox, "Star Wars: Knights of The Old Republic" in 2003. It was a revelation. I started with Poser, Bryce and Vue Esprit, creating architectural structures from symmetrical lattices. I am now learning to use ZBrush, Hexagon and trueSpace. My goal is to be able to model all the strange fantasy creatures that inhabit my imagination.

Experimenting with techniques and tools is what I enjoy the most when creating an image, as the challenge allows me to learn something new -- every time!

Additionally, I'm working on my first graphic novel, "The Burning Citadels of Asheroth", and I'm composing songs for a dark electro album. I've always loved playing music and I also have experience in creating tracks for radio commercials.
